Mothers Day Weekend

Stetzyn had so much fun this weekend, He played in the sprinklers and loved the water. He loves being out doors. If he is being a little irritable, I take him outside and he is so content and happy! Saturday we played at Jan and Morgans while Morg and Lando filled in the pond and started to make room for the swing set! It was so much fun and the boys worked super hard all weekend! We had a busy day Sunday. We made it over to my parents house, then to Grandma Swensons, then over to the Zugs! It was such a good day. We love our family and are so lucky we have such great women in our life! I am so happy I am a mother! I truly thought alot about what a mother is and I am so lucky that Stetzyn is my little guy!! Today was a really emotional day for some reason! I thought often of Grandma Andrews and Grandma Schank! They were the greatest mothers and Grandma's!

This is actually the first time my parents have ever held Stetz! My dad was so in love with him as was my mom.

 Always a good time at the Swenson's! It was such a pretty day and we ate out on the Deck! 

 We are lucky to have these two ladies in our family! They do so much for us! 

 We made it over to Donna's and it was so busy! Corey is serving his mission right now and we were all able to talk to him on Skype! So by the time we were done eating and playing basketball, Stetz was crashed so Grandma's picture is this! She is such a special lady and I love her so much! She is so wise and loving! It was a good mothers day!

Stetzyn's First Owie

So today I felt like the worst mom ever! I had my friend Jen's little boy for a while and it was so much fun! They boys loved each other! Stetzyn can sit on his own now. Really well too... So I sit him down and go to pick up Dax, and I come back over sit down next to Stetz and I didn't even see it, I just heard it. He fell over and hit the corner of my entertainment center. I picked up him faster than I have done anything in my life lol and he had a tiny dent and was already turning black and blue. He was screaming I picked him up and loved him better. Inside though I was freaking out. Dax poor guy, was scared of Stetzyn's screaming so I had two crying babies. I was doing okay but the fact that there was a dent?? FREAKED me out. I considered calling 911 but thought that might be a little over the top. ;) I settled to call my doc. Stetz calmed down probably after 2 mins if that. I felt so bad. I gave him some Tylenol and the nurse said that if he isn't crying and acting different than she thinks he is okay. Told me I could bring him in if I wanted. I know now that he is mobile he will get all sorts of bumps and bruises, I just wasn't ready for this. I felt a little sick to my stomach. At least we got this first over with and I can handle this little boy when he gets more! :) When I called and told Landon about it he was freaking out because when I told him there was a dent he thought that the dent was permanent. The dent is gone though so no worries!

I just barely took this, You can see his goose egg,(on his left side) and Its not nearly as black and blue as it was! Thank goodness. 

Reno Trip

Reno was a lot of fun this year! I was really nervous for this trip, Stetzyn's first time Flying, and being in his car seat for 9 hours. Stetzyn had a lot of first this trip. First time Flying, Eating French Fries, Sleeping in a motel bed, tasting Ice Cream (Lando is naughty, and it was only a smidge), First time out of State, Tasting losts of fun things!!! He is getting so big!
We got to the airport 2 hours early. We weren't planning on being there that early but it went by fast. Stetz was an angel. He was so inquisitive about everything and just loved looking around!

We got into Reno about noon. Landon was so excited to see Stetz...(and me right?) We had a really great time. Gus was obsessed with Stetzyn and wanted to come visit and play with him every day. She was really cute with him.

When we first got there all Stetzyn wanted to do was stare at Mango! He thinks the cows are pretty neat!

Landon and I headed out to win some money. I was the only winning party. :)

On the way home Landon started reading the Mockingjay Book from hunger games on my Nook while Stetzyn slept. He was so good. He only cried for literally three mins when we got into Wendover. He was super tired and ending up falling asleep till we got home. He was such a good baby. Half the time you didn't even know he was there! 

Love his big eyes. So we have been trying to see what color his eyes are. Most people think they are brown. We finally decided they are a blue hazel. He has a lot of yellow in them (like his mama) but they are gorgeous no matter what!

This is probably one of those "you have to be there moments" But just for documentation. This is my out of state water. I told Landon I didn't want Stetzyn drinking any out of state water. LOL The cattle out there were amazing and good competition. We stood about the middle! It was a fun trip and can't wait for next year. We didn't get to ride the swing. We didn't stay at the Grand Sierra which is where the swing is. We only made it over to that hotel one day for a sale and we just weren't feeling it. Maybe next year!

In other news...Stetzyn had his Well baby Check up yesterday, He is 17.2 lbs and Over 26 inches. His Head Circ is 45.2. He is still growing into his big Preemie head but he is doing good. He is supposed to be 2.5 months behind, However, Cindy our welcome baby said that he is doing amazing and that he is doing everything an 8 month old would do. She said out of all her Preemies she has ever had born at 30 weeks that he is the best she has ever seen. She doesn't believe he will hit that gap where he has to catch up. He is sitting up on his own, rolling over, and army/combat crawls everywhere. While she was here yesterday he kept popping up and his hands and knees and rocking back and forth! He is so close to crawling. I am so happy he is doing so good and excelling when we thought he would be struggling to catch up! I have to add this in. I think he did hit a gap for awhile. I think he was slow at doing things, mainly sitting. Everything else seemed to come to him pretty good. But I think he is doing great!! 

He will be 9 months old on the 14! He is starting to love making bubbles with his mouth and being very very vocal. His new favorite thing that I am not a fan of, is when I am feeding him his Fruits & Veggies, If he is done eating he will get a mouth full and blow it back out in my face...its super funny but sometimes I am thinking what the heck!! He is such a smart little baby. He knows how to get what he wants and is still a happy baby!   He loves anything Corn and loves Banana's mixed with anything! We are still trying to work in those nasty meats he dislikes so much!! I will update more on him next month for his 9 Month! That flew by! He is growing way to fast!!!

First Fish, My Lil' Trouble Maker - Camp Trailer!!!

Yesterday we decided to enjoy our backyard after church! It was still a little bit chilly but we started a fire in our fire pit. Amanda & Jentry came over! They got a house a few blocks away from us so we are excited to have them so close and spend more time with them! Amanda and I tried starting the fire with no luck. I even went and got Hairspray and hand sanitizer. It didn't work. So the boys were fishing and we just watched. You can see now that what we are standing on is right down from our rocks...we no longer have water below our rocks. The water is really low right now. Anyways, This was the first time I have ever held a fish! Landon caught three fish and The third one was supposed to be my cast but Landon did it anyway. So I wanted to hold a fish! Pretty neat!! I look like a geek but I was pretty excited! :)

I think I have mentioned once on here that Stetzyn loves to sleep on his tummy. Well the other night I got home from work and this is how I found him!

 He is a little mischief maker. I put him on his little gym the other day and I come walking down the hall to this. He was originally centered and his feet were towards the stairs and he managed this.

 LOL 

 We went out for a walk yesterday, to Amanda & Jentrys. Stetz and I have been trying to walk everyday. This past week has been cold and rainy so we didn't get out much last week.

He also likes to sleep like this sometimes. Seriously. Landon and I have found him with his arm hooked in the bumper pads a few times. I am kindof worried about it. but we knotted the string so it wont come untied and down in his crib. He is so crazy! He loves having his face covered while he sleeps. If its not the bumper pads its his blanky.

  In other fun news we got a Camp Trailer this weekend! Our family goes to Island Park every year for a week and this last year we took Camp trailers and thought it was so much better than a Cabin. So we decided with our Family growing it would be nice to have one for our own! We are super excited about it and I am excited to clean it and make it ours!

We are headed to Reno this week. Remember THIS post? or THIS post? We haven't been able to ride it! I am talking about the swing! Last year we couldn't ride it because I was pregnant!! This year Lando has agreed to go with me! And I Can't wait! :) Till then!

Stetza-roo's First Easter

This year we had a really relaxing Easter.  We got together with the Swensons. We went down to Lincoln beach and had yummy food, egg hunting and kite flying! It turned out to be such a pretty day! Stetzyn got a cute little basket from Grandma Jan and Grandpa Mo and got some new Clothes from Landon and I. I don't want him to grow to fast, but I find myself being so excited for his next milestones, like crawling and walking! I can't wait to enjoy that.

 Stetzyn was introduced to Cherry 7up this Easter weekend, and he is obsessed with it....That night we went out to eat with Dave & Lindsy, and he also gummed a fry and was pretty upset when I took it away! He is growing up fast! In four days on the 14th he will be 8 Months old!!!!
